Old World Wine Tasting
- Posted: 6th April 2018
For our next series of wine tasting events we're very excited to explore a selection of old world wines which are all new to the Chop House wine list. These events will take place on Wednesday 11th April at Chop House Market St. Edinburgh city centre & Thursday 12th April at Chop House Leith, both a 7pm start.
The wines featured will be Musacadet de Sevre et Maine sur Lie Marquis de Goulaine - a refreshing French white from the Loire Valle. Campo Reale Nero D'avola - a well structured yet soft Sicilian red boasting notes of cherry & spice. And then the Crozes Hermitage, Jean luc Colombo - a delightful Rhone Valley red made using hand harvested, predominantly Shiraz grapes, full of dark fruity flavours.
Each glass will be accompanied by Chop House dry aged steak & seafood bites. Your host Alex will guide you through each glass & food pairing, all enjoyed at the Chop House bar for what will be two relaxed & informative evenings.
Tickets are £10 with very limited availability. On the day you will also receive a £10 gift card that can be redeemed at Chop House Leith, Market St. & Bruntsfield, Monday - Friday 12-5pm, Saturday & Sunday for weekend breakfast, 10am-12pm.
