Wild Turkey Cocktail Masterclass
For our June events we’re delighted to welcome Wild Turkey to Edinburgh for two complimentary cocktail masterclasses. Join us at the Chop House bar for two evenings of delicious bourbon cocktails & tasty steak.
Born in Kentucky, USA, Wild Turkey’s creation is oversaw by master distiller Jimmy Russell who is the world’s longest-tenured active distiller. For 60 years he’s preserved the tradition that dates back generations. He lays the spirits success down to premium ingredients, select barrels & a lot of patience. The water used is naturally filtered through limestone, removing any impurities. American white oak barrels with the deepest, no.4, “alligator char” are used to flavour & age the bourbon and a drop isn’t poured until it’s aged at least five years. Technically bourbon only has to age for 2 years however Wild Turkey like to do things differently.
The result is a fantastic bourbon that boasts notes of sweet vanilla, pear & hints of spice resulting in a rich & full spirit perfect for mixing up in cocktails.
Our talented cocktail bar team have created a trio of delicious cocktails for the two events which will be enjoyed with tasty steak bites from the Chop House charcoal grill.
