Reyka Cocktail Masterclass

After launching our new Chop House menu last week we’re thrilled to host two complimentary Reyka cocktail masterclasses to help celebrate at the bar. 

The Reyka distillery was the first in Iceland and uses the surrounding artic water from a spring that runs through a 4,000 year old lava field. The lava rocks naturally filter the water making it some of the purest in the world and creates an extremely smooth spirit. The smoothness is enhanced through the distillation process using one of the few Carter-Head stills in the world. In fact, it’s the only one of it’s kind used to make vodka. And if the artic spring water and lava rock filtration wasn’t cool enough the Reyka distillery is powered by geo thermal energy from surrounding volcanoes. 

It’s this smoothness that makes it perfect for mixing up in cocktails & our cocktail bar team have created 3 delicious creations for each event. The bites to accompany each cocktail will be from our new menu which consists of fantastic new dishes such as hot chicken skewers & whipped blue cheese, fillet tail & chimichurri, short rib scotch egg with burnt onion mayo, mussels in bone marrow gravy & sesame squid in chilli butter & coriander ’slaw. All very highly recommended & perfect as part of your steak feast experience at the Chop House Edinburgh.
