Edinburgh Fringe Festival Round Up

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is well and truly underway & there’s a great buzz within the city. Each year there seems to be more & more to experience & this year is no different. We’re spoiled for choice with fantastic shows & it’s a great excuse for days & nights out with friends & loved ones. It’s also a very busy time for us at the Chop House with the introduction of our new brew & a few changes to our menu availability. 

Our new brew hit the Chop House fridges last week, fresh from our brew team through at Drygate. It’s a grapefruit spiked pilsner & features funky stuff like caramalt, dark crystal, saaz & is a light & refreshing craft beer perfect for the hot summer days. Keep an eye out for our next blog where we will have a Q&A with our head brewer Jake from Drygate. 

With the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in mind we’ve tweaked our menu availability at the weekend so you can now enjoy even more. Our hearty Chop House breakfast is now available 10am-12pm every Saturday & Sunday which features dishes such as our signature Butchers Breakfast, eggs benedict & the new bacon sourdough. Express lunch, traditionally served Monday - Friday is now available 7 days a week from 12pm at both Chop House Leith & Market St. which means you can savour lite bites, salads & of course our steak sourdough before heading out into the Fringe Festival.
