OUR STORY

Chop House has been a large part of the Edinburgh landscape since we launched back in 2015. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and drink and if you visit us, you’ll discover premium steaks, artisan cocktails and excellent service.

Each dish is carefully prepared, cooked to perfection and our staff are on hand to guide you through our exciting menu and extensive wine list.

Our contemporary restaurant is located under the arches, close to Waverley Station in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic old town. It’s perfect for intimate dining or a special occasion.

We pride ourselves upon offering first-class food and service, and in order to achieve this we needed to work with the best. To source the best British beef, the Chop House team visited farmers and suppliers the length and breadth of the country. We really wanted to understand the provenance of our beef and be able to offer full traceability to the farm and field it was sourced from. It’s hugely important to us that we use only the best cattle and that it is treated well throughout its life.
